Life Drawing Course - Autumn 2011 starts next Monday
Yes, it's been a while, but it's that time of year again when the pencils and ink come out for Life Drawing in Hartstown. It's this Monday evening 26th Sept. at the school. You can link to the evening course site on the right and book a place from there. We've new as well as some old models lined up and it's a great way to spend two hours on a Monday evening guaranteed whether you're an experienced artist or a newbie.
You can enrol now by phone or online through the website at www.hartstown-cep.com.
Or if you like, you could enrol in person at the school before next Monday.
Click the link for the website and details & have a look at the map for directions to Hartstown.
It's not far after the Blanchardstown centre if you're coming from the direction of Dublin city.
There's loads of free secure parking and buses (no. 39) are frequent too (They stop right outside the school), so it's easy to get there and back if you're traveling from outside the area. The train station is close by also.
Numbers are limited as usual, but there's places left at the moment, so tell your friends and family. All levels are welcome and we've got some great models lined up.
There's also coffee/tea break, so it's a great way to make new like minded friends. Hope to see you all there. Follow us for updates. See you Monday, Dublin Arts.

Sounds for the soul in the city
Hottest April in Dublin in a while, wow! Hardly any 'April showers'. It's Good Friday, Summer is fast approaching and it's time to get about this beautiful city and see what's going on. Not only a city full of wonderful artists and writers, but also wonderful musicians. Here's a link to a brilliant guitarist and singer that you should check out when your in Dublin.

Winter is well and truly here already with the biggest snowfalls we've had in years creating some beautiful picturesque landscapes around the city. A great opportunity to take some magical photographs and turn into some wonderful art.
The Autumn term Life Drawing at Hartstown is in it's last week also and there's been some fantastic drawings done by the artists on the course aswell.
Here are some lovely drawings by Emma Hutchinson.

Dublin Culture Night 2010 takes place on Friday the 24th of September!
Have a look at what's going on all over the city. I'm sure you'll find something that interests you, as it's going to be a great evening of events. There's loads going on including Art events and I for one will be out and about that night. There's so many things going on I'd like to get around to many of the events!
It's just a pity it all happens on one night a year only. So go out and take advantage of the evening and free events. Follow the link for more.
